The summer festival is back in Osaka！！
The Tenjin Festival, one of Japan's three major festivals, had been cancelled due to the infection from COVID 19, but the Rikutogyo was held for the first time in three years. On July 25, Mikoshi（portable shrine）and so on carrying a sacred spirit departed from Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, praying for the prosperity of Osaka and the peace of World, and paraded around the city.
Starting with the Hokonagashi (Shinto ritual) on the 24th, the number of participants this year was limited to one-third at the main festival on the 25th, and the fireworks and the dedication by Funatogyo were cancelled. However, Naniwa's energy and spirit with preserving tradition spread throughout the city.
The Yodogawa Fireworks Festival is scheduled to be held on August 27th for the first time in three years.
